Car into House

A driver crashed in to the front of a house in Rowville.

A 23-year-old man was drink driving when he crashed his Toyota Coupe Silver into house on Waradgery Dr, Rowville in Melbourne's southeast at about 6.20am on Sunday 17th November 2013.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Anita Bren said the Rowville man was driving erratically along the street when he lost control of his car, hit a curb and collided with a Honda Accord parked on the side of the road.

He then slammed his car into the house, significantly damaging the living room and garage, Ms Bren said.

She said the driver fled the scene, but later called local police and turned himself in.

The man then blew .077 when breath tested after returning to the scene.

He will be charged on summons with drink driving, failure to remain at the scene and other driving offences.
